Meditation helps you to calm your mind, relax your body and allow yourself to escape the pressures of your day. Another relaxation practice that requires no research is just to take 10 minutes out of your day, lie down on the floor or your bed, progressively tighten, and then release the major muscle groups of your body. Start with you feet and end with your head and neck. As you tighten and relax you muscles breathe deeply and focus on positive thoughts and thing that bring you joy. Doing this simple exercise once a day is enough to help you reduce stress significantly and help you shift into a more positive outlook.


The basic stretch exercises will relax the muscles and joints so they can contract and release easier. In fact, medically speaking, when you stretch often, relax the muscles and workout you can improve your chances of living longer dramatically.
